Senior Manager, HR Digital Solutions Design

Role overview

Leadership and design

• Prioritize team work across BAU requests and initiatives; develop team capability and promote documentation, peer review, and knowledge sharing.
• Own Workday design standards for business processes, security groups, data model, and integrations.
• Review configuration changes, customizations, and integrations for fit, scalability, and risk; lead complex cross-module and cross-system initiatives.
• Act as senior technical escalation point and mentor Digital Solutions teams on design practices.

Integrations and platform management

• Co-design and oversee Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector, and API/web-services integrations.
• Maintain dependency maps across Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, vendors, and data platforms.
• Partner with IT on tenant environments and release management, including regression and impact assessments.

Security and data governance

• Maintain the Workday-SAP coexistence framework and direct security analysts’ implementation and administration.
• Oversee Workday-SAP data synchronization, data quality, and extracts; ensure data supports reporting, Snowflake, and AI agents.
• Establish quality-control and peer-review practices for design, security changes, and data deliverables.

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday experience with expert-level technical experience.
• Practical experience with Phenom, VNDLY, ServiceNow, S/4 HANA, Microsoft access management, and other enterprise applications at global scope.
• Prior people management; deep Workday data model, security architecture, and business process expertise.
• Hands-on Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector, PECI, RaaS, and API integration experience; multi-module tenant and release strategy experience.
• Strong enterprise data governance and security knowledge, scalable design skills, and excellent technical and non-technical stakeholder communication.

Preferred qualifications

• Workday certifications in Integrations, HCM Core, Procure to Pay, or Security.
• AI or data-platform experience, including Snowflake or similar; experience in matrixed enterprises with formal change and release governance.
• Exposure to ServiceNow or other HR service-delivery platforms.
