A listed, multi-entity organisation is seeking an experienced finance professional to take ownership of group level financial reporting, consolidation, and close processes across a diverse international structure.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of consolidated financial information, alongside continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, and governance.
This opportunity is suited to individuals who are comfortable operating at group level, managing complex reporting structures, and ensuring high standards of financial control and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation adjustments
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) across all entities
- Manage and coordinate the group close timetable across multiple business units and jurisdictions
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during audit cycles
- Review statutory accounts and support audit readiness across entities
- Maintain and enhance group reporting frameworks, policies, and controls
- Partner with finance teams across the business to ensure consistent and accurate reporting inputs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and reporting automation
- Support senior stakeholders with clear, reliable financial insights and analysis
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
- Ideally Big 4 trained, with a strong foundation in audit and financial reporting
- Proven experience in group consolidation and financial reporting within a multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial statement preparation
- Experience working with consolidation tools and ERP systems
- Background in group finance within a complex organisation is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in a deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
