Overview

Join us on Victoria’s Big Build, delivering the Victorian Government's rail infrastructure projects.

To reflect our broader remit, our organisation name has changed from Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) to VIDA Rail, providing a strong link to our overarching authority, VIDA.

We're excited and proud to continue the Level Crossing Removal Project, Melbourne Airport Rail and Big Build Rail projects.

There's never been a better time to get amongst the action!

About The Role

  • The Senior Manager, Digital Information provides internal technical capability in digital engineering and information management, helping VIDA Rail develop and embed a digital way of working that strengthens project development and delivery.
  • Reporting to the Director, Engineering, this role supports design development, design assurance, completions and the broader use of digital engineering tools across the organisation.
  • In this role, you will:
  • Act as VIDA Rail’s Digital Engineering Lead, providing advice on digital environments and partner interfaces across VIDA, Technical Advisor and Alliance teams.
  • Own and develop VIDA Rail’s Digital Strategy and Plans, including technical requirements, verification processes and reporting on key risks, opportunities and performance.
  • Support delivery teams to implement common digital protocols, manage digital deliverables and assets, and maintain compliance with project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate training, auditing and cross-functional collaboration to improve digital capability, system alignment and information governance across the project.
  • The role is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $193,946 - $263,771 plus superannuation with hybrid working arrangements (a mix of CBD office and home/remote based working).
  • About you
  • You are a strategic and technically strong digital engineering leader with experience across complex infrastructure environments.
  • You bring sound information management capability, can work confidently across multiple stakeholders, and know how to translate digital standards and systems into practical, compliant and efficient ways of working.
  • Let’s get technical – what skills do we expect you to have?
  • Demonstrated experience leading Digital Engineering / BIM teams in engineering, architecture, rail or construction project delivery across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Experience developing digital engineering, information management or workflow processes, including auditing, verification and compliance activities.
  • Strong knowledge of DE/BIM processes, multi-disciplinary design coordination and compliance with client digital requirements, including ISO19650 and associated standards.
  • Knowledge of Bentley and Autodesk design products, 3D collaboration platforms and related systems used to manage engineering and construction information.
  • At VIDA Rail we embrace diversity and inclusion.
  • We actively strive to remove barriers and encourage applications from people of any age, or disability, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders, culturally and linguistically diverse or LGBTIQA+.
  • We will make adjustments to our recruitment process to ensure that you are able to participate to the best of your ability.
