Role purpose

Oversee TerraPay business operations across MENA, supporting continuity, governance, partner management, transaction monitoring, incident resolution, and team oversight.

Serve as the primary escalation point for MENA stakeholders and partners and drive operational excellence.

Operational leadership

  • Lead end-to-end regional operations and ensure SLA, KPI, and standard operating procedure adherence.
  • Monitor transactions, identify anomalies, and resolve operational risks and critical incidents.
  • Manage payout corridor and partner performance and coordinate with Technology, Compliance, Treasury, Product, and Finance.
  • Lead regional team accountability, capacity planning, and performance management.
  • Provide management reporting and maintain operational resilience and risk mitigation.

Strategic responsibilities

  • Support strategic decisions with data-driven insights and lead operational work with domestic and international banking partners, especially in the Levant and North Africa.
  • Improve customer service, partnership strategy, and business performance through process improvement and automation.

Essential qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or cross-border remittance operations.
  • Proven experience in transaction processing, partner management, incident management, and operational governance.
  • Strong team leadership experience in dynamic, shift-based environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills and strong analytical ability to interpret MIS reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Arabic or French proficiency is an advantage.
