Senior Manager – Accounting & Finance

About This Role

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Manager – Finance & Accounting to oversee the organization’s financial operations, accounting functions, reporting standards, and compliance requirements across group business activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, audits, and strategic financial planning. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to support senior management with accurate financial insights and business decision-making.

The organization operates within engineering, consultancy, and industrial service sectors with a strong focus on operational excellence, integrity, and long-term business sustainability .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily finance and accounting operations across the business
• Lead general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT, corporate tax, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
• Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures
• Support senior leadership with financial planning, business performance analysis, and strategic recommendations
• Review contracts, commercial terms, and financial risk exposure where required
• Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior-level position
• Strong experience in managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Experience within engineering, contracting, industrial services, or group company environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance requirements
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• UAE experience is strongly preferred
