Senior Maintenance Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance planning team, building capability, succession and technical depth while setting clear expectations and performance standards. Provide oversight and governance of the Work Management Processes to ensure consistent, high-quality planning outputs. Drive effective backlog and forward log management, work prioritisation and schedule optimisation. Optimise fixed plant maintenance strategies to maximise plant availability and reliability. Monitor planning KPIs and implement improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness and execution reliability. Champion safety, quality and compliance across planned work scopes, and collaborate with maintenance, operations, contractors and stakeholders to ensure work is aligned, achievable and properly resourced. Qualifications and Experience Significant experience in mining process plant maintenance planning. Strong technical understanding of fixed plant mechanical and/or electrical systems. Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance planning or reliability environment, including the ability to mentor and uplift team performance. Australian-recognised Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification. Certificate IV in Maintenance or Asset Management (desirable). Advanced working knowledge of SAP CMMS, MS Office Suite and MS Project, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
