About This Role
Overview
- The Senior Machine Operator is responsible for executing the tasks needed for the operation of the production line to ensure that equipment and raw materials are in good working order and that finished product is produced as per specifications and schedule set by Production Supervisor.
- Follow the established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organisation's products according to production specifications and schedules- volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.
- Operate machine and equipment as per instructions received from supervisors.
- Follow instructions, health, safety, and hygiene requirements as per Agthia policy and standards.
- Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Ensure technical labours and other staffs follows health and safety regulations at work.
- Report to manager or supervisor any possible problem or hazard present in the working area.
- Coordinate with Maintenance department to trouble-shoot and perform regular maintenance on equipment.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor / Manager.
