About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Distributor & Commercial Support: Handle legal matters regarding Saudi distributors and review commercial agreements to protect company interests.
- Corporate Operations: Participate in the day-to-day legal activities and operational management of BYD’s Saudi subsidiaries.
- Labor Relations & Compliance: Manage employment contracts and ensure full compliance with KSA Labor Law. (Familiar with Qiwa would be better)
- Compliance & Data Privacy: Coordinate with external law firms on regulatory matters, specifically focusing on the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other compliance frameworks.
- Regulatory Research: Monitor local legislative updates and provide clear interpretations of new policies and their impact on the business.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a prestigious university of middle east countries.
- Experience: 2+ years of legal experience in a corporate in-house role or a law firm. Candidates with strong potential and a quick learning curve are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- in the Automotive or High-Tech sectors is highly prefered.
- Languages: Professional proficiency in English and Arabic (Must be able to draft/review documents and communicate with authorities in both languages).
- Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of data compliance, import/export controls, and unfair competition laws in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries will be given preference.
- Mobility: Middle east countries National or willing to relocate to and be stationed in Saudi Arabia.

- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between regional legal requirements and local execution.
