Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices; work with Spring Boot, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.
• Develop SQL queries and manage data with RDBMS such as MySQL.
• Contribute to frontend development using Angular 8 or later.
• Use XML and JSON for application integration and data exchange.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Follow coding standards and Agile methods; participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use Git and JIRA for source control and project management.

Must-have skills and experience

• At least five years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, and microservices experience.
• Good understanding of Angular and full-stack application development.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interest in developing and customizing large-scale lending or financial platforms.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and deliver high-quality solutions.
