Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot enterprise applications.
- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, backend services, and front-end components with Angular and/or React.
- Integrate enterprise systems, design relational databases, and develop secure application components.
- Deploy and support Azure applications and implement CI/CD pipelines with Git or Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, write testable code, and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate across architecture, business analysis, QA, DevOps, and development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, technical design discussions, and releases.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience is required.
- Strong recent hands-on Java or JEE and Spring Boot/Spring Framework experience is required.
- RESTful API, microservices, relational database, SQL, Azure, Git, and CI/CD experience are required.
- Hands-on Angular and/or React experience is required.
- Application security and API authentication knowledge involving OAuth2, OIDC, or JWT is required.
- Application design, debugging, performance optimization, production support, and Agile/Scrum experience are required.
Preferred Skills
- Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift are nice-to-have technologies.
- Kafka, JMS, messaging technologies, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, Maven/Gradle, Azure services, API gateways, automated testing, accessibility, and public-sector experience are listed as additional preferences.
- Experience with high-volume or mission-critical enterprise applications is a nice-to-have.

Compensation
- Pay is listed as $61,357.16 to $142,662.05 per year.
