Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end software, including responsive React components and Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Design REST APIs and expose backend functionality as MCP services for AI agents.
• Deploy and manage applications using OpenShift/Kubernetes and AWS, integrating S3 and Oracle as a Service.
• Work with product managers, designers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, and deliver reusable, maintainable, high-quality software.
• Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk technology work, application and model development.
• Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation; provide user and operational support.
• Analyze complex issues, recommend programming solutions, consult with users and technology groups, and assist with system installation.
• Recommend security measures, maintain operating standards and support compliance and risk controls.
• Coach junior analysts and exercise independent judgment with limited direct supervision.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience delivering complex, large-scale enterprise applications.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing microservice-based applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript; deep proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing scalable, high-throughput APIs using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; Jenkins and GitHub Actions are examples.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting and clean-code skills; knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Collections and multithreading.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience with API integration, third-party libraries, security and distributed multi-tier applications.
