Senior It Systems Administrator
Our Cork based client are thriving IT Services provider & are now recruiting for an experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to join their team.
The Senior IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining IT infrastructure for a diverse portfolio of business clients.
The Senior IT Systems Administrator will have expertise across Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilitie
- sDesign, deploy, and maintain client IT environments
- .Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory services
- .Manage Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID
- .Configure and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- .Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
- .Deploy and support Microsoft Azure environments
- .Implement cloud migration projects
- .Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions
- .Configure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- .Monitor cloud security and compliance requirements
- .Configure and support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPN solutions
- .Troubleshoot complex networking issues
- .Maintain network security and performance
- .Document network infrastructure and configuration
- sImplement and manage cybersecurity best practice
- sMonitor and respond to security incidents
- .Manage endpoint protection, email security, and vulnerability remediation
- .Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements
- .Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application problems
- .Deliver exceptional customer service to business clients
- .Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
