Role overview
Senior IT specialist role covering infrastructure, business applications, employee support, security, and IT operations.
Infrastructure and support
- Manage servers, networks, storage, backups, and system performance to maintain reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support Oracle and Zoho applications and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Maintain employee computers, printers, software updates, and antivirus protection.
- Resolve email, mobile device, configuration, synchronization, authentication, and access issues.
Security, monitoring, and administration
- Maintain endpoint security, access controls, backups, system updates, and data protection measures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV, recording equipment, storage, and connected devices.
- Document daily system health checks, incidents, and corrective actions; identify issues before disruption.
- Maintain IT inventories, software licenses, technical documentation, and employee access during onboarding and offboarding.
AI and accountability
- Identify uses for AI tools, chatbots, and automation to improve productivity and streamline processes.
- Own IT issues through resolution or escalation, report critical risks promptly, and update management regularly.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant hands-on IT experience.
- Practical Oracle and Zoho experience; strong knowledge of server administration, networking, Windows, storage, and backups.
- Experience with cybersecurity, antivirus, endpoint protection, business email, and mobile device support.
- Familiarity with CCTV and connected devices; working knowledge of AI tools, chatbots, automation, and IoT.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and take ownership.
Pay
- AED 8,000–9,000 per month.
