Senior IT Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Infrastructure and Technology Operations

• Manage infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, user accounts, access, and IT assets.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
• Support backup, recovery, data protection, and business continuity.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and infrastructure health.
• Resolve complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical issues.

Security and Service Management

• Support cybersecurity, vulnerability management, access controls, information security, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, devices, and access.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, asset records, and knowledge resources.
• Coordinate with IT vendors, software providers, hardware suppliers, and service providers.
• Review licenses and infrastructure requirements to identify cost optimization opportunities.

Projects and Support Coverage

• Support evaluation and implementation of new IT tools, system upgrades, digital workplace solutions, and technology improvements.
• Prioritize incidents and infrastructure requirements according to business needs.
• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical incidents or planned technology activities.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and technical support.
• At least 3–5 years in a senior, supervisory, technical lead, or similar capacity.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, endpoint management, and Active Directory experience.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Practical experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and network security.
• Experience with cybersecurity controls, compliance, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.
• Experience with IT vendors, software licensing, and technology cost optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support multiple business requirements.
• Willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support.
