About the role

IT operations and strategy
- Develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term technology needs.
- Oversee daily operations, infrastructure, system performance, and technical support.
- Manage cloud platforms, servers, networks, databases, business applications, and enterprise systems.
- Lead IT projects, upgrades, software implementations, and digital transformation.
- Maintain IT policies, procedures, technical standards, and operational documentation.
- Monitor availability, performance, reliability, and service delivery.
Security and continuity
- Implement cybersecurity measures, access controls, data protection policies, and information security procedures.
- Identify IT risks, investigate security incidents, and coordinate response and recovery.
- Oversee backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and system restoration.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information and technology assets.
Resources and team leadership
- Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor contracts.
- Supervise IT professionals, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and support development.
- Coordinate technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, incident resolution, user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
- Evaluate technology solutions and trends, recommend improvements, and support ERP, CRM, automation, and efficient digital workflows.
Coordination and reporting
- Coordinate with service providers, software vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
- Prepare IT performance reports, project updates, risk assessments, and management recommendations.
- Participate in virtual meetings, strategic planning, project reviews, and management discussions.
- Ensure systems follow company policies and applicable UAE regulatory requirements.
Experience and capabilities
- Strong leadership, communication, technical management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, access management, data protection, and incident response.
- Experience managing IT projects, technology budgets, vendors, and technical teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, networking, virtualization, and system administration.
- Understanding of IT service management, including ITIL principles; familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001.
- Experience with backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and system monitoring.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, communicate technical matters clearly, and coordinate distributed teams remotely.
Education and certifications
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
- A master's degree in IT Management, Information Systems, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Azure, or AWS certifications are beneficial depending on the role.
