Role description
The Senior IT Manager oversees IT operations, technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems, and digital initiatives.
The role is responsible for reliable and secure technology services across the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives; manage day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and technical support.
- Lead and develop IT teams; oversee networks, servers, cloud services, hardware, software, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure IT security, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
- Manage IT projects, technology upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives; monitor performance, availability, and service-level standards.
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and technology resources.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and operational standards; identify technology risks and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with proven management responsibility.
- Strong experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and support operations; proven technical team leadership.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT systems.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar certifications are an advantage.
- UAE / GCC experience is an advantage.
