The analyst will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and organizational leadership to align improvements with strategic, operational, compliance, and performance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, design, documentation, and optimization of complex IT-supported processes at section, division, or enterprise level.
- Evaluate processes, workflows, systems, and operational practices to identify inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead business process reengineering and modernization across multiple functional areas and stakeholder groups.
- Implement process improvements using automation, workflow management, and data-driven solutions.
- Leverage ServiceNow for workflow automation, process management, service delivery, and operational improvements.
- Use Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, to automate processes, analyze operational data, and improve decisions.
- Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, and data analysis.
- Translate business requirements into process designs and technology recommendations.
- Develop current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, requirements, SOPs, and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate cross-functional sessions to identify requirements, resolve process challenges, and standardize practices.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions support business requirements and organizational objectives.
- Develop performance measures, dashboards, and analytical tools; support testing, implementation, change management, adoption, risk controls, and leadership briefings.
Required experience and qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT business process analysis, process improvement, process reengineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-departmental or cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs or agencies.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing IT-supported business processes within large or complex organizations.
