We are seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer with a strong design portfolio and proven experience in luxury residential and hospitality projects.
This is an opportunity to join a highly creative studio where concept development, storytelling and design excellence are at the core of everything we do.
The Role
You will lead projects from concept through schematic design while coordinating closely with our BIM and technical teams during later project stages.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly organised, and confident presenting ideas to clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of high-end hospitality and residential interior projects.
- Develop compelling design concepts, mood boards, material palettes and FF&E strategies alongside the FF&E Manager.
- Produce high-quality presentations and client deliverables.
- Prepare space planning, layouts and design documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants and specialist suppliers.
- Guide and mentor junior designers within the studio.
- Review design intent throughout project development and coordinate with Revit production teams.
- Work collaboratively with visualisation teams to produce high-quality presentations and imagery.
- Attend client meetings, workshops and design presentations.
- Ensure projects are delivered to XiD's design standards, programme and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 10–12 years of professional experience within a recognised design consultancy.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury residential and hospitality interiors.
- Excellent concept design, space planning and detailing skills.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, FF&E and bespoke joinery.
- Experience working on projects throughout the GCC is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Revit workflows and BIM coordination.
- Proficient in SketchUp for rapid design development and modelling.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
- Experience preparing professional client presentations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
