Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Architect to join a highly respected international interior design and architectural studio in Dubai.
This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative and creative team working on some of the region's most exclusive luxury residential projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standards.
Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, you will be responsible for developing and delivering highly detailed design solutions while maintaining design integrity throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Producing detailed technical drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, lighting layouts, and finish schedules
- Creating bespoke joinery and interior architectural detailing packages
- Developing detailed bathroom layouts, tile setting out drawings, and specifications
- Create presentations and sample boards for interior architectural finishes
- Leading client, contractor, and consultant meetings
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors onsite to ensure designs are executed in line with specifications
- Ensure quality control throughout construction and installation phases
- Mentoring and managing junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline recognised within the UAE
- Minimum of 6 years' experience working on high-end residential projects*
- Strong knowledge of bespoke cabinetry, bathroom design, finishes, FF&E specification, sourcing, and procurement
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, EstiPC, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), and Microsoft Office is essential
