Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain system stability, traceability, and version control throughout integration cycles.
  • Collaborate with client teams to verify integration success and execute STS tests.
  • Document integration workflows, patch impacts, and resolutions.
  • Work closely with CI/CD teams to ensure merged code compiles and passes baseline test criteria.
  • Integrate monthly AOSP security and feature patches into a custom Android-based ECU platform. Resolve complex multi-branch merge conflicts and ensure successful upstream/downstream code alignment.

Required Skills:

  • Expert in Git, Gerrit, repo-based workflows, and handling large-scale code merges.
  • Strong understanding of AOSP repo tool, manifest management, and build flows.
  • Experience maintaining clean multi-branch strategies (e.g., long-term support vs feature branches).
  • Solid understanding of Linux kernel, HALs, init/system services, and Android build system.
  • Optional / Nice to have:
  • Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) to automate merge and diff operations.
  • Familiarity with Github actions or other CI tools for automated patch validation.
