Supports creation and management of item and vendor master data for GPO Operations, Sourcing, and Spend Analytics.
Uses existing data and Microsoft tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI, to identify data gaps, document technical limitations, and improve data quality.
Key responsibilities
- Support data quality and integrity initiatives with operations, supply chain, finance, BI/analytics, and contract portfolio teams.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and updated system data; identify and reconcile integrity issues to mitigate downstream risks.
- Audit item and vendor additions and updates.
- Analyze requirements with business and technology teams to support system and application design.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Manage project requirements, milestones, task tracking, escalations, and status updates.
- Recommend process improvements, streamlined workflows, controls, and procedures.
- Protect confidential information and maintain technical knowledge through workshops and online learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or applicable experience required.
- 2–5 years of work experience as a hospital supply chain, data, or financial analyst.
- Experience in supply chain involving medical or surgical data or medical devices, or healthcare industry data, is recommended.
- Healthcare or corporate supply chain or data management experience is preferred; familiarity with multiple technology platforms is a plus.
