Job Title: Senior IBM FileNet Developer / ECM Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced IBM FileNet Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade ECM solutions.
The role requires deep expertise in IBM FileNet architecture, complex workflow automation, and large-scale system integrations, including secure integration with external government and identity platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of IBM FileNet P8 solutions
- Design and manage complex object stores, class models, metadata, and storage policies
- Develop and optimize workflows using Process Engine and IBM Business Automation
Workflow (BAW)
- Build scalable integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Lead document migration strategies from legacy systems to FileNet
- Implement advanced security models, including role-based access and compliance policies
- Optimize system performance, including tuning CE/PE, database queries, and storage
- Handle high-volume transaction environments (including API calls and document processing)
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practice guidance
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure system stability
- Prepare detailed technical architecture and design documentation
Technical Requirements
- 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8 (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in:
- o Content Engine (CE) architecture and administration
- o Process Engine (PE) and workflow design
o Case Manager / Case Foundation (preferred)
- Advanced experience in Java / J2EE development
- Strong experience with REST and SOAP-based integrations
- Solid knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and query optimization
- Experience with application servers (WebSphere / WebLogic)
- Hands-on experience with FileNet APIs, event actions, and custom components
- Familiarity with containerization or cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5–8+ years of relevant ECM/FileNet experience
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise or government projects
- IBM certifications in FileNet or BAW are highly preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with identity integration and secure data exchange (e.g., government identity systems)
- Strong understanding of security standards and data protection regulations
- Experience handling high API transaction volumes and performance tuning
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
