Preferred Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will possess a mix of excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated management capabilities, I&C design experience, and broad I&C technical knowledge. 11 years’ experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting 7 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry Experience in project management and business development. Experienced with control system component selection and application for distributed control or SCADA systems such as Allen-Bradley PLC, Modicon Schneider Electric, Emerson Ovation, ABB 800xA, or similar. Experienced with network diagrams, instrument device schedules, Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), instrument schedules, input/output lists, instrument installation details, instrument loop diagrams, control narratives and technical specifications. Experienced with coordinating multi-discipline workflow process to meet budget and schedule goals. Demonstrate strong problem-solving, leadership and team management abilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Certifications Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or must be obtained within one year. Work Environment/Physical Demands This position would require working in a typical office environment. The position may entail prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, and the professional would ideally be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. The position may also require physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
