Responsibilities
- Define business goals and track key performance metrics.
- Coordinate designers, developers, marketers, and service providers.
- Manage budgets and resources; supervise feature rollouts and product updates.
- Build partnerships that support marketplace growth and refine service categories.
- Improve user experience based on feedback and maintain safe, reliable, scalable policies and workflows.
- Represent the platform externally and support fundraising or investor relations when applicable.
- Deliver value to customers and providers.
Qualifications
- Experience in product ownership or startup leadership, including setting vision, roadmaps, and overseeing digital marketplace or mobile app operations.
- Business management or entrepreneurship background, with budgeting, resource planning, and performance analysis skills.
- Knowledge of marketplace dynamics, including customer acquisition, provider onboarding, and service quality assurance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote cross-functional work and external partnerships.
- Ability to analyze data and user feedback to make growth and user-experience decisions.
- Comfort with project management, analytics, customer support, and remote collaboration tools.
- On-demand services or local marketplace experience is beneficial.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience leading or scaling a business is highly valued.
