Parsons is seeking a dedicated Senior HSE Officer ( Saudi National) to join our health, safety, and environmental team on the ground-breaking NEOM project in the Tabuk region.
In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing site safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring a zero-harm environment across busy construction and infrastructure packages.
This position requires an energetic Saudi National who understands the rigorous safety expectations of mega-projects and is passionate about championing a proactive safety culture.
What You'Ll Be Doing
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure immediate corrective actions are taken.
- Monitor compliance with Parsons' HSE policies, NEOM-specific safety regulations, and Saudi Arabian environmental and labor laws.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions to contractors and site personnel.
- Assist in investigating incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and contribute to the development of preventive action reports.
- Review contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Method Statements to ensure all safety precautions are integrated before work begins.
- Maintain accurate HSE logs, incident records, and performance metrics for daily and weekly reporting to senior management.
What Required Skills You'Ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of direct experience as an HSE Officer, with mandatory, hands-on field experience navigating the fast-paced environment of the NEOM project in the Tabuk region.
What Desired Skills You'Ll Bring
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction safety standards, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response procedures.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong conflict resolution abilities, and the firmness required to enforce safety protocols on a high-profile mega-project site.
