ASGC Construction, one of the region’s leading vertically integrated construction groups, is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Officer / Engineer to join our team on major high-rise developments in Dubai.
This role is critical in maintaining world-class safety standards across complex construction environments, ensuring full compliance with UAE regulatory authorities, client requirements, and ASGC’s HSE management systems.
Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of HSE experience in the construction industry
- Proven experience on high-rise or large-scale building projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
- Trakhees approval is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and industry best practices
Role Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan and ASGC HSE Management System
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring
- Ensure subcontractor adherence to ASGC safety standards and procedures
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance records
- Promote a strong safety culture across project teams and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, client requirements, and statutory HSE regulations
Oversight Of High-Risk Construction Activities
- Working at Height
• Tower Crane & Complex Lifting Operations
- Scaffolding Systems
Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Support implementation of the Project Emergency Response Plan
- Participate in emergency drills and evacuation exercises
- Ensure emergency systems and equipment are fully operational
