About This Role
Required
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a Generator Technician.
- Specialized in the operation and maintenance of high-capacity diesel power generators (1600 KVA and above).
- Previous experience in data center environments or other mission-critical facilities will be an added advantage.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in the operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel generators.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, control panels, ATS and LV switchgear.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures for power generation equipment
- Experience in handling emergency breakdowns and ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
- Familiarity with Load Bank testing & fuel system management.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and electrical layout drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
- Preparation of service reports.
- Good technical reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
