Senior Game Developer / UE5 Engineer

Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Engine Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions across multiple areas of game development.

Expert-level proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, C++, and Blueprint scripting, with the ability to architect, develop, and maintain scalable gameplay and game systems.

Experience developing across gameplay, player interactions, animation systems, UI integration, and core game functionality within a production environment.

Strong understanding of physics systems and simulation principles, with the ability to develop and refine mechanics that support realistic and engaging player experiences.

Experience integrating and supporting game assets, interactive objects, and technical content pipelines while ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability.

Advanced debugging, profiling, and optimisation skills, with a proven ability to identify bottlenecks and deliver performant solutions across complex projects.

Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor other engineers, and contribute to technical best practices, architectural decisions, and development planning.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with designers, artists, technical artists, and production teams to achieve project goals.

Experience developing VR titles in Unreal Engine.

Experience working on first-person experiences, vehicle gameplay, simulation titles, or flight simulation projects.

Familiarity with networking and multiplayer systems.

Experience working directly with external clients and stakeholders.
