Role Description
The Senior FX Dealer – Risk Management & Dealing Desk (Forex & CFD Brokerage) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This role involves managing the FX and CFD dealing desk, including executing and monitoring client orders, managing pricing, and ensuring aligned risk exposure across products and markets.
The Senior FX Dealer will oversee risk management activities such as monitoring market movements, managing hedging strategies, and maintaining position limits in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include optimizing spreads and execution quality, liaising with liquidity providers, supporting the development of trading and risk tools, and preparing regular reports for management on trading performance and risk metrics.
The role also includes close collaboration with compliance, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure smooth trading operations and high-quality client service.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in FX and CFD trading, including dealing desk operations and execution management.
- Proficiency in risk management, including position monitoring, hedging strategies, and exposure control.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, market microstructure, and liquidity management.
- Experience working with trading platforms, pricing engines, and related trading technologies.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and prepare clear risk and performance reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Prior experience in a brokerage or investment firm environment, ideally in a similar senior dealing/risk role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong ethics, and commitment to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
