Senior Fullstack Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and mobile, leaning toward frontend and React Native.
• Choose pragmatically between integrating with existing platform systems and building independently.
• Navigate dependencies with platform teams and contribute to shared infrastructure when appropriate.
• Partner with a principal engineer and cross-functional teammates to explore requirements and technical approaches.
• Build AI-native features and contribute to platform capabilities used by the broader engineering organization.
• Communicate trade-offs and constraints clearly.
• Participate in code review and help raise the technical bar.

Technical Qualifications

• Strong frontend engineering capability and solid React experience.
• React Native experience is a strong advantage.
• Backend development experience in TypeScript or Go is expected.
• Experience building products in fast-iteration environments, ideally at a SaaS startup or scale-up.
• Experience building applications that integrate with existing systems.
• Agentic coding tools are used as a primary part of the development workflow.

Product and AI Skills

• The engineer should be product-minded and able to co-own direction with a product manager.
• The engineer should make sensible scope decisions and understand the purpose behind the work.
• The engineer should prompt effectively and evaluate AI-generated code for quality and logical soundness.
• The role requires curiosity about AI-native product features and changing development priorities.

Working Style

• Comfort with ambiguity and loosely defined requirements is important.
• The engineer should be assertive, direct, and able to push back constructively.
• The role requires fast, decisive iteration instead of premature over-engineering.
• The engineer should collaborate actively, work independently, and operate without close management.
