Senior Full Stack Product Engineer (Next.js + AI-Native Delivery)

• We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer who can own delivery end-to-end, from frontend to backend and operate effectively in an AI-native development environment.
• This is not a traditional developer role.
• At Whiteshield, we are building products and systems for governments and large institutions, where speed, ownership, and engineering judgment matter.
• Our workflows are evolving rapidly with AI - from development to QA and delivery and we need engineers who are already comfortable operating in this way.
• You should be able to:
• Take a feature from idea → architecture → implementation → deployment
• Move fast using AI tools, without compromising on quality
• Work independently while collaborating closely with product and leadership

WHAT YOU WILL DO \|

• Own end-to-end feature development across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Build production-grade applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web stacks
• Design and implement clean, scalable APIs and services
• Work directly with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to shape solutions
• Debug issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Use AI tools (LLMs, agents, automation) to accelerate development and delivery
• Contribute to a fast-moving, highly collaborative, remote team environment
• Continuously improve how we build including AI-driven workflows and automation

Requirements

• MUST HAVES \|
• 5+ years experience building production web applications
• Strong, hands-on experience with Next.js and React (mandatory)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend architecture
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end (UI → API → database)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
• Experience working in remote, autonomous environments
• Comfortable using AI tools in your daily development workflow (not just experimenting)

NICE TO HAVE \|

• Experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Playwright or automated testing frameworks
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications
• TailwindCSS or modern UI frameworks
