Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java+React)

Project overview

Responsibilities

• Design and build the LMS end-to-end with Java and Spring backend services and React operational and partner interfaces.
• Deliver production-grade code with reviews, high test coverage, and observability using tools such as Kibana, Elastic APM, and Prometheus or Grafana.
• Use AI coding assistants while remaining accountable for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Refine specifications, create JIRA stories, identify missing scope, and own features across Kafka contracts, REST endpoints, and React screens.
• Share technical knowledge and proactively improve tooling and engineering practices.

Required experience

• At least five years of production Java 17 or later and Spring ecosystem experience.
• At least three years of hands-on production React experience.
• Daily fluency with AI coding assistants and the ability to critically review generated output.
• Experience operating microservices and reasoning about distributed-system failures, retries, backoff, and network partitions.
• Solid REST API, integration, secure coding, APM, troubleshooting, and JIRA specification experience.
• Hands-on asynchronous messaging experience such as Kafka.
• At least six years in lending technology or NBFC or bank operations technology, including an end-to-end LMS or LOS implementation.
• Knowledge of RBI digital lending guidelines and strong written and spoken English.

Preferred skills

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 or OIDC, multi-tenant SaaS, financial-services or lending domains, and the listed platform and development tools.
• Frontend experience with state management, accessibility, internationalization, and component libraries is useful.
• Experience with spec-driven development, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Avro, Gitflow, SonarQube, Maven or Gradle, and Swagger is useful.
