Full-stack delivery and integrations
- Design, build, and maintain features across frontend, backend services, APIs, and databases; own delivery from design through deployment and iteration.
- Develop backend services primarily with PHP/Laravel and Node.js; build responsive interfaces using a modern JavaScript framework.
- Design REST APIs with domain modelling, validation, versioning, and error handling; apply secure authentication, idempotency, and compatibility practices.
- Integrate payment gateways, KYC/e-sign services, banking rails, and platform APIs; address performance, scalability, and reliability.
Data, cloud, and quality
- Design relational models with MySQL and PostgreSQL, write efficient queries, and manage safe schema evolution.
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and traceability appropriate for financial systems.
- Build and deploy cloud-native services on AWS and use containerized workflows and CI/CD tooling.
- Participate in reviews and testing, resolve production issues, and collaborate with product, design, QA, and platform teams.
AI-assisted engineering
- Use AI-assisted tools and agents for coding, code review, commits, and git-flow automation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, and production readiness; prevent sensitive-data leakage.
- Exposure to spec-driven development is a bonus.
Required qualifications
- 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience with production feature ownership and full-stack delivery.
- Strong backend experience in PHP/Laravel and/or Node.js, plus modern JavaScript frontend experience.
- Strong REST API and relational database fundamentals, third-party integration experience, and ability to build secure, scalable services.
- Hands-on AWS and CI/CD experience, with awareness of fintech security, reliability, and compliance expectations.
Preferred qualifications
- Next.js or React.js is preferred for frontend experience.
- Python/FastAPI exposure, automated testing frameworks, and mentoring junior engineers are preferred or bonus experience.
