Role overview

SoftwareOne seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop enterprise AI-enabled solutions in a secure industrial environment.

The role focuses on backend development, systems integration, application reliability, real-time data, and containerized deployments.

Work arrangement is hybrid in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is full-time and requires a valid KSA visa.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and APIs for enterprise web applications.
  • Build services for reporting, dashboards, notifications, user workflows, administration, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Integrate applications with enterprise data sources, operational platforms, document repositories, notification services, and backend systems.
  • Develop real-time or near-real-time data flows using APIs, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, message queues, and similar patterns.
  • Collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate model outputs, analytics, RAG/LLM capabilities, and monitoring into application workflows.
  • Support Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket, releases, environment configuration, and deployment validation.
  • Support reliability, security, and operational readiness with troubleshooting, logging, monitoring, performance optimization, patch releases, secure coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, DevOps, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.

What the role requires

  • Extensive full-stack or backend-focused enterprise development experience using Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python/FastAPI/Django, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong RESTful API design, development, and documentation skills, including secure design, authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Hands-on relational and NoSQL database experience, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or TimescaleDB, or similar.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications with Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes; solid understanding of CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket, code reviews, branching, and releases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and reliability challenges in complex enterprise settings.
  • Strong application security, vulnerability remediation, and secure software development knowledge.
  • Ability to follow structured enterprise processes for documentation, testing, quality assurance, and formal acceptance.
  • Fluent or professional written and spoken English is required; Arabic is a strong plus.
