About the Role

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your time (70%+) writing high-quality code and solving complex technical challenges
• Architect and implement sophisticated frontend solutions that handle complex state management, real-time updates, and evolving product needs
• Own frontend architecture and technical decision-making, balancing immediate requirements with long-term scalability
• Create responsive, performant interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers, while continuously optimizing and monitoring frontend performance
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs and evolve the component library and design system while maintaining code quality and performance
• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, testing, and frontend development best practices
• Lead code reviews and establish frontend engineering standards while providing technical guidance and mentorship to two frontend engineers
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and build-system improvements that strengthen the development workflow and product quality
• Partner closely with the backend team to design and implement APIs that enable rich frontend functionality
• Own the core product interface and user experience from a frontend engineering perspective

Qualifications

• 10+ years of frontend development experience with expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep expertise in React.js and its ecosystem, including state management approaches (Redux, MobX, or similar)
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.) and frontend testing frameworks and methodologies
• Proven track record of building complex, production-grade, responsive applications with strong cross-browser compatibility
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization
• Background in building developer tools or AI-powered applications is a plus.
