Lead proactive and reactive fine fragrance development projects responding to client briefs and strategic market opportunities.
Work with Sales, Marketing, Perfumers, and global headquarters teams to strengthen the local fine fragrance portfolio and support business growth, particularly in India.
Responsibilities
- Lead fine fragrance projects aligned with client briefs, category strategy, and commercial objectives.
- Evaluate developments and contribute to collections and concepts with the FDM team and Perfumers.
- Create, maintain, and upgrade the local fine fragrance library with headquarters teams.
- Guide and support Perfumers during developments when required.
- Recommend submissions suited to briefs, market needs, and olfactive direction.
- Track competitive products, emerging olfactive trends, and consumer preferences; work with Marketing to turn insights into solutions.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and internal alignment.
- Lead proactive initiatives for portfolio development and innovation.
- Participate in and lead client fragrance presentations with Sales teams.
- Build knowledge of the Indian fine fragrance landscape and key categories.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Creation & Development, Innovation & Technology, and Regulatory teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Perfumery.
- At least 10 years of fragrance development experience, with strong exposure to Fine Fragrance.
- Proven experience working closely with Perfumers and cross-functional global teams.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
