Workplace and employment

• The work pattern is on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• The position is permanent.
• Relocation candidates, including international applicants, are welcome; relocation support is available for the selected candidate.

Role responsibilities

• Design, simulate, code, and verify FPGA projects for software-defined radio applications.
• Develop and optimize digital signal processing algorithms in FPGA fabric and perform timing analysis on large, high-speed designs.
• Own complex VHDL and Verilog projects end to end, including documentation.
• Drive projects from study and simulation through implementation and test.
• Support evaluation and introduction of control boards and platforms.
• Provide occasional troubleshooting and customer-project support; contribute to how the team develops and delivers.

Required experience and qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Proven VHDL or Verilog experience for FPGA.
• Scripting experience in Tcl and Bash.
• BSc or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.

Desirable experience

• Python experience is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment is desirable.
• Embedded-device experience is desirable.
• Software-defined radio, DSP, or another RF-adjacent domain experience is desirable.
