About This Role
Technical & Design Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of foul sewerage and drainage systems for infrastructure and urban development projects.
- Prepare concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering designs in accordance with local and international standards.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, sewer network analysis, and capacity assessments.
- Design:
- Gravity sewer systems
- Rising mains
- Pumping stations
- Manholes and associated sewer infrastructure
- Coordinate utility layouts and ensure integration with other infrastructure disciplines.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with:
- Ashghal standards and guidelines
• Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)
- Environmental and health regulations
- International engineering standards and best practices
- Conduct technical evaluations and engineering feasibility studies.
- Provide technical support during tendering, construction, and project execution stages.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project implementation.
