Role overview
Flowerlab seeks an experienced, creative senior florist for artistic floral design, premium bouquets, weddings, events, and bespoke arrangements.
The role turns creative concepts into floral designs and supports high design and production standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design bouquets, arrangements, centerpieces, and floral installations.
- Develop concepts for seasonal collections, special occasions, and new products.
- Create sketches, mood boards, colour palettes, and flower selections.
- Execute floral designs for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events.
- Guide junior florists and maintain the company’s signature style, packaging, presentation, and finishing.
- Maintain quality control across arrangements.
- Manage flower conditioning, freshness, storage, and proper handling.
- Complete orders within production deadlines.
- Support inventory control, flower costing, and waste reduction.
- Stay current with floral trends, techniques, and innovative materials.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional floristry experience; luxury floral design experience preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and attention to detail.
- Wedding and event floristry experience, including large-scale installations.
- Excellent knowledge of flowers, seasonal varieties, colour combinations, and floral techniques.
- Ability to independently develop and execute original designs.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and time-management skills; ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Employment and pay
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Pay listed as AED 3,000–5,000 per month; source salary field also lists AED 3,000 per month.
