Firmware development and architecture
- Design and develop embedded firmware on RTOS or bare-metal platforms.
- Implement modular firmware components aligned with system architecture.
- Participate in firmware architecture and design reviews.
Cellular firmware
- Integrate and maintain LTE, LTE-M, and NB-IoT firmware.
- Work with cellular modules such as Quectel, u-blox, or similar.
- Implement AT command handling, network attach/detach logic, and reconnect and recovery flows.
- Handle poor coverage, intermittent connectivity, and SIM or registration failures.
- Optimize modem usage for PSM/eDRX and minimize wake-up and transmission time.
Wi-Fi firmware
- Implement Wi-Fi connectivity, station mode, and TCP/IP stack integration.
- Implement secure communication using TLS.
- Optimize power consumption, connection speed, and reliable data transfer.
- Handle coexistence scenarios between Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with cellular- and Wi-Fi-based IoT products.
- Experience developing embedded firmware on RTOS or bare-metal platforms.
- Experience with LTE, LTE-M, or NB-IoT cellular connectivity and cellular modules such as Quectel or u-blox, or similar.
- Experience implementing Wi-Fi connectivity, including station mode and TCP/IP stack integration.
- Experience with secure communications using TLS.
- Experience with power management and optimization for IoT devices.
