Senior Fire Protection Inspector - Riyadh, KSA

Overview

Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification related to fire and life safety systems.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire protection inspection, testing, commissioning, or site supervision.
• Relevant certifications such as NFPA, CFPS, IFE, Civil Defence approval, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international fire codes and standards (NFPA, IBC, BS, UAE Fire Code, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for fire protection and life safety systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Witness testing & commissioning activities and verify system performance and documentation.
• Identify non-conformities, issue inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site-related fire protection issues.
• Attend inspections with Civil Defence and relevant authorities when required.
• Prepare clear inspection reports, snag lists, and compliance records.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with HSE requirements and company IMS procedures.
• Support junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with technical inputs for proposals and business development activities when required.
