About The Role

Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced finance professional for the role of Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue Management & Partner Alliances, based in Doha.

This role supports Revenue Management (RM) and Strategic Alliances by delivering high‑quality financial analysis, contract‑based modelling, and accurate reporting for complex partner and joint commercial agreements.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate partner settlements, audit readiness, and strong financial governance across alliance‑related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models based on alliance and joint commercial agreements, including revenue sharing, settlement logic, thresholds, and contractual adjustments.
  • Analyse monthly partner submissions and validate revenue, cost, and performance inputs.
  • Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses to support management decision‑making on partner performance and contract evolution.
  • Support monthly and quarterly partner settlement calculations and validations.
  • Reconcile partner data with internal Revenue Accounting and Revenue Management records.
  • Ensure accurate GL mapping, postings, and adjustments for partner‑related entries.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors on alliance‑related audit or agreed‑upon procedure requirements.
  • Prepare supporting files, reconciliations, and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Maintain strong version control and documentation standards for models, accounting memos, and partner files.
  • Contribute to monthly RM reporting packs, including variance analysis, cost‑of‑sales percentages, and partner‑linked KPIs.
  • Support month‑end close activities, including accruals, reversals, and validation of alliance‑related revenue and cost lines.
  • Contribute to forecasting cycles (e.g. rolling and annual forecasts) covering partner revenues, payouts, and associated costs.
  • Support budgeting activities for codeshare, interline, and alliance‑related revenues and expenses.
  • Ensure alignment between Revenue Management IT budgets and alliance business requirements.
  • Work closely with Strategic Alliances, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Management, Commercial Finance, and external partner teams.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience (FP&A, Revenue Management, Commercial Finance, or a similar analytical finance role)
  • Experience with contract‑based modelling or airline partnerships/joint commercial agreements is a strong advantage.
  • Prior exposure to working with multinational stakeholders and external auditors is preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to interpret and translate contractual clauses into financial logic and calculations.
  • Solid understanding of revenue sharing, airline partnerships, or commercial finance principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail with strong discipline around documentation and controls
