Role Description

The Senior Finance Manager role at L'Affaire du Siècle is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports for leadership and key stakeholders.

This role manages cash flow, monitors financial performance against targets, and recommends actions to optimize costs and support strategic initiatives.

The Senior Finance Manager will review and enhance internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading finance processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams on business cases and investment decisions, guiding junior finance staff, and presenting clear financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong skills in accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to design, implement, and improve internal controls and financial processes, supporting audits and risk management.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced spreadsheet skills; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Proven capability to interpret complex financial data and present concise insights to senior leadership.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading finance team members and collaborating effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are preferred.
  • Prior experience in a senior finance role, ideally within an international or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a part-time, hybrid setup.
  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory and inclusive workplace practices.
