Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) using SAP.
  • Analyze MRP outputs and create purchase requisitions/planned orders.
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, and packaging materials to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Suppliers for material planning and deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimum stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Review production schedules and align material planning accordingly.
  • Track material shortages and proactively resolve supply issues.
  • Maintain master data related to materials, lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and BOMs in SAP.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and expedite critical materials whenever required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MRP reports.
  • Participate in demand forecasting and capacity planning activities.
  • Support month-end inventory reconciliation and stock verification.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and process efficiency.
