Responsibilities
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of the Fixed Asset sub‑ledger , including timely capitalization and asset retirements.
- Execute month‑end close activities related to fixed assets, including Journal entries, account reconciliations, Depreciation and amortization posting and variance explanations.
- Support compliance of fixed asset schedules in line with US GAAP and local GAAP (i‑GAAP) requirements.
- Perform Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities such as accruals, amortization, and balance sheet substantiation.
- Prepare qualitative variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and Balance Sheet movements related to fixed assets.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations for internal reviews.
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls, internal policies, and statutory guidelines , and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with global finance teams and stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and support reviews.
- Work on ERP systems (Oracle / Oracle Fusion) for transaction processing, accounting, and reporting.
