Penspen is hiring a dynamic

Senior Engineer, Quality - Civil

to join our team in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience

d Quality Civil Engineer with responsibility for planning, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities for oil and gas projects.

Ensures all civil construction works comply with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Management Systems (QMS), QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
  • Monitor and inspect civil works including site preparation, earthworks, piling, foundations, concrete structures, buildings, roads, drainage systems, and underground utilities.
  • Review and approve material submittals, quality records, test reports, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with representatives, EPC contractors, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits, surveillance inspections, and assessments to verify adherence to specifications and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all inspection and testing activities are completed and documented prior to project handover.
  • Prepare and maintain final quality dossiers, turnover packages, and as-built quality records.
  • Qualification Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is Mandatory.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in large-scale EPC projects within the Middle East, preferably ADNOC Group.
  • Experience with major capital projects in the middle east (EPC environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with ADNOC Engineering Standards and international civil construction codes, and quality management systems.
  • Experience in managing client inspections, audits, and project quality compliance
  • Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
