Senior Engineer – Physical Integration

You will play a key role in delivering engineering solutions for the integration of new combat systems and supporting infrastructure.

Working across areas including electrical systems, data connectivity, facilities and safety, the role ensures installations are compliant, effective and seamlessly connected within a complex technical environment.

Core duties:

• You will review Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment guidance and develop detailed physical integration designs for combat systems, ensuring compliance with safety, security, environmental and Space, Weight, Power and Cooling requirements

• You will produce and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts, including high-level and detailed designs, installation guidance packs, system architectures, schematics, cable schedules, test schedules, specifications and Scope of Works

• You will support the Combat System Technical Authority by ensuring coherent integration of equipment and systems in line with local design, installation and acceptance standards

• You will provide specialist physical integration expertise to project teams and stakeholders, developing bid packages and delivering technical advice, design reviews and presentations to contractors and senior RN/MOD representatives
