Senior Engineer, OR& A - Process
About This Role
We are hiring for a Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (Process) to be based in Abu Dhabi with oil and gas experience to support I&C systems during project execution, commissioning, and handover. The role ensures control systems, instrumentation, and safety systems are fully compliant, functional, and ready for safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OR&A activities for Process systems across project phases.
- Ensure operability, maintainability, and compliance with project and industry standards.
- Support FAT, SAT, loop checks, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and readiness reviews.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Commissioning, and Operations teams for smooth handover.
- Verify documentation, training, spares, and maintenance strategies prior to start-up.
Qualification Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Control Engineering is mandatory
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentation.
- Experience in commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API, and relevant international standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
