Position overview

Develop a cloud-based Network Management System platform for enterprise customers.

Build web applications and mobile interfaces for monitoring, configuring, and managing network infrastructure at scale.

The platform supports switches, routers, WiFi access points, and other network devices.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable applications for network device management, monitoring, and configuration.
  • Build dashboards showing network topology, device status, performance metrics, and alerts.
  • Develop interfaces and APIs for network hardware from multiple vendors.
  • Create interactive topology maps and device relationship diagrams.
  • Build mobile tools for field technicians to configure and troubleshoot devices remotely.
  • Implement SNMP-based monitoring, telemetry visualization, and real-time performance tracking.
  • Develop bulk configuration, firmware update, and policy deployment tools.
  • Build alerting and notification systems for network events and anomalies.
  • Contribute to secure multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
  • Create RESTful APIs for integrations and customer automation workflows.

Technical requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with React.js or Angular, TypeScript, D3.js, and WebSocket for real-time applications.
  • Strong experience with Node.js, Python, or Java for scalable network management services.
  • Understanding of SNMP, SSH, Telnet, NETCONF, and REST APIs for device communication.
  • Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB or TimescaleDB and traditional databases.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking services, load balancers, and auto-scaling.
  • Experience with monitoring protocols, log aggregation, and observability platforms.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, VPN configurations, and secure device access methods.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.

Domain-specific qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Eight to ten years of full-stack development experience, including at least three years in network management or infrastructure software.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing protocols, and enterprise networking.
  • Experience with network device APIs from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Ubiquiti.
  • Knowledge of WiFi standards, switching concepts, and routing protocols.
  • Experience building SaaS platforms for enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, and Infrastructure as Code.
