Role overview

Manage a small team of engineers and technicians and coordinate design work with US-based project managers and engineers.

Lead civil engineering design and delivery for master planning, site development, roadway, water, wastewater, and drainage projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design of civil engineering scopes including site planning, roadway, water, wastewater, and stormwater drainage.
  • Perform engineering studies, calculations, and design analyses using industry software.
  • Evaluate technical staff work using design and production checklists.
  • Manage master planning, land/site development, public roadway, and drainage projects, including design, quality control, and project management.
  • Lead technical documentation, specifications, drawings, requisitions, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Assist with schedules, resources, QA/QC, technical training, and staff development and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • BE/BTech in Civil Engineering required; ME/MTech is a plus.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience on Indian projects is required.
  • Experience managing and designing civil/site development and master planning projects is required.
  • Master planning and design experience on US and/or Indian projects is required; experience in both is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Indian design codes and standards is required.
  • Other design software knowledge is a plus; Navisworks and InfraWorks exposure is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and a sound technical design background.
